Moving the Ubuntu Wiki to Mediawiki or something else?

Hi José,

Thanks for bringing this up. It's been discussed numerous times over
the years in various places. I'd like to see a solution to the problem
of the poorly performing, and outdated wiki too!

Performance is indeed one of the biggest annoyances with the wiki, I agree.

Yes, yes a thousand times yes.

We should of course discuss the various options available, and get
buy-in from Canonical IS to provide some resource to help, but I think
this is a do-able project which can make the project better for many
people.
