Very much worthy of discussion.
Such e-mail threads in the past have become monstrous. Much work to
extract useful signal from all the noise, and many interesting
participants drop out before a useful resolution appears.

I suggest moving the discussion to Ubuntuforums, where the proper
moderation and thread tools exist, and the cadre of experienced
moderators can help keep discussion of each point calm and on-track.
They also have rather a bit of experience with recognizing and
correcting unacceptable behavior and the enforcement end of the CoC.

Move the discussion back here to the mailing list when alternative
solutions appear and need to be digested.

Cheers,

Ian
