I like the job board idea, but I feel it's an additional idea.
At the job fair (at least as I was imagining it), we'd invite new
community members and they'd have a chance to chat with people from
different teams who could then show off some of the work they had been
doing. It'd be kind of like a welcome and an introduction to the team,
where you get to know a few faces already, etc.
This could be presentation + Q&A style or whatever else people feel
represents them as a team best.
