Yeah, they simply take too much time out of my day, so even though I
am one of the fortunate ones with a good enough Internet connection, I
really can't participate in (or watch them) very often. IRC and email
threads when combined with an Etherpad work much better for me.
I think once we get the LeadershipActions etherpad fleshed out an
create blueprints for each project we have volunteers for we'll be in
a much better place.
I'd also like to remind everyone who is saying we "getting nothing
done" that it's the holiday season AND it's been less than a month
since these conversations were kicked off by Jono's blog post. Please
be patient with the rest of us, we are making progress, it just
doesn't happen over night and we all have other commitments in the
community that we need to continue to fulfill in the meantime.
Personally, I need to digest the viewpoints I've heard from in these
threads and then decide where my time is best spent, I'm not just
going to start working on the first idea that is thrown out in front
of me.
