Here is the short explanation:
Many people interested to contribute to the development of Internet as we know it are regularly facing a big problem: where to start contributing and how?
There are so many issues to discuss about, so many places to look for resources, and even when you found the right place for the issue you want to address, sometimes discussions are difficult to understand.
This situation led to the development of a set of initiatives that aim to foster contributions from new comers in the world of Internet Governance.
The links I shared with you are some starting places.
If you need more explanations, I did a post in french on the subject on my blog (http://nacerix.blogspot.com). Have a look there or send any specific question to me and I will redirect you to the right person.
