Eric,

Thank you for relaying the concern here. Amazon did in fact contact me
regarding the bug, where we were able to inform Amazon that the bug
would be fixed shortly. However, I didn't have the detailed information
to make a proper Launchpad response.  If you look at the bug again,
comment 9, (

has the details.
