L'association www.swisslinux.org

Hi all,
What Marcus explained is the reality, we're few people loving and using
this distribution. Also our country is small and I don't see the point
to split this community to small parts.
We discussed this topic multiple times, since we created this loco team
and I agree that English is not one of our official language but at
least we can use it to communicate between us.
If someone is looking for some specific help, there's many wiki/page
written in french/german/italian from French/German/Italian community.
We don't offer any help[*] as we mentioned multiple times when we meet
the LoCo Council.
We're here to know and met each others, to be known as community and to
spread Ubuntu in our country.
Now if you want to reinvent the wheel and rewrite wiki pages (copy /
paste) from other sites, you are free to do so.
[*] Help in real-life:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SwissTeam/RegionalContacts otherwise there's
enough wiki related to Ubuntu in DE/FR/IT but maybe not in Romansh for
example...
Regards,

As mentioned, there are a lot more arguments against such a split.
This does not mean, local support could not be handled in different
languages, but even the idea of creating translated wiki pages did
not
work out, due to the lack of activity.
If you bring up ppl that are able to translate and maintain the
content
in German, French and Italian over a longer period of time, we could
again discuss it.
