Hi Dirk, dank je wel ;-)

It is an interesting suggestion, but it would not work and die pretty
soon. The effort required to link, summarize and/or translate between the
lists would be prohibitive, as there'd be probably no one to drive this. So
they remain isolated from each other. So, yes, language in that sense is a
problem, and without any automated translation tools this will remain a
problem for all involved, for some more than for others. Only native English
speakers have a true advantage.

Hmmm... an automated translation tool, that would be nice and would be
useful. Everyone to contribute to a single list in their native language,
and read from that same list in their native language. With automated
translation interfaces...

sorry, but I do not have the time to do so.

I see, that Switzerland is special in many terms.

But, I do not see any problem creating local language lists
beside this one
and keep this one as coordination list. Weekly (or monthly)
reporting
should make this as transparent as it should be. (Just a
suggestion).

BTW: Some years ago I had a colleague who growed up in Eastern
Germany. She
never learned a single word of English. Even the message "printer
out of
paper" made her scared. When she saw any English word she blocked
totally.
When I saw that, I believed that language is an issue for some
people.

Tot ziens
