Hi again,

I added the following people as booth people:
Silvan Gebhardt
Jaap Hoetmer
Daniel Stoni
Manuel Schmid
myself
Don't forget to bring your laptop with power cables. As they talked to
give use a LAN access, I will bring a switch and some LAN cables too,
in case you forget yours, WLAN will be provided anyway.
Of course with that many people at our small booth you will not have
to be there the whole time. At least Silvan and I will be available
both days. Daniel suggested to occasionally show the distro in a more
quiet place to very interested people which I think is a great idea,
as these spaces are available
Distribution to show:
keep in mind that this is a business show, so I suggest to show mainly
Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS and Kubuntu 8.04.1 LTS.Daniel already has Intrepid
on his laptop so no need for everybody to update to the Alpha version.
I will bring some empty CDs too so we can burn ISOs if needed. We will
have the Swiss CD available from ch-open (they seem to have tons of
left) so I didn't ask for additional CDs from Canonical. Also I will
check with the KDE booth if they will have some Kubuntu CDs, would be
nice to have, else we can burn them.
My laptop seems not to be very reliable these days so I can't promise
it will work at the booth, as it refuses to work often when I move it,
works find on my desk though... must have some connectors to the
graphic card that go wild I guess form the error messages.
I will bring some ISO too, but please, Silvan or the others, please
bring the following ISOs in case someone has a faulty one:
Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS for PC, 64bit and server edition
Kubuntu 8.04.1 LTS (with KDE 3.5.9, they can upgrade themselves to
3.5.10 or 4.1) for PC, 64bit and server edition
eventually some Alpha ISOs of Intrepid but we can very well live
without it for the moment.
I will be in Winterthur from Tuesday evening.
Looking forward to a great show with you guys :)
Cheers
Myriam
