Hm, if you read the wiki entry correctly, it states: "Anyone
interested to give support (either free or for a fee), hand out CD,
organise a meeting and more can enter his contact details in the list
below, sorted by postal code. Don't forget to include a link or e-mail
address so that people can actually contact you! And please join the
mailing list!"
This is indeed a list for people who want to give help and support. I
did not question the use of nick names in IRC or the forum, as it's
really handy to use and a long time tradition, but we do talk about a
regional contact list. BTW, we do plan a map on the website (in the
HowTo since several month) where people can be found by clicking on
the map, so the order will not be relevant anymore

I fully agree with you on that one, but then, you have to sign the CoC
with your real name anyway, I really don't see why this should be a
problem to use it here too...

Again, I did not question the use of nicknames in IRC at all, but if
you look these people up on Launchpad, they all are listed with their
real name, mostly a WHOIS gives you the real name in IRC too, so does
a WHOIS on my nick, I did never hide behind that nick and published my
real name.
