Hi folks,

Like some of you already know, the next release party will be held on
the 17.05.2008 in Lausanne and on the 24.05.2008 in Zurich!

Yes, this year we'll have two release parties!

One for Swiss French and one for Swiss German! The idea is to appeal to
an audience as wide as possible, and most people will not be willing to
travel great distances, especially if the party is not in their language.

We wish to focus on showing what Ubuntu -can do- with more emphasis on
speeches and demos than last year.

The wiki is still waiting for suggestion as to what exactly we will
demonstrate and/or talk about, but there already is a pretty good
canevas for ideas.

Of course, we should probably first make sure we have a *booked*
location for each party before we make the announcement "official" (i.e.
press etc...), but you can start talking about the party to people
around you with real dates now :)

For those that can get in touch with event facilities (Netztier, WaVeR
?), could you please confirm the bookings on the list so that everybody
knows? Thanks a lot!
