Hi all
An entrepreneur friend of mine, who uses only Ubuntu in his Small
Business (webdesign related), will organise a conference in Geneva for
all SMBs, about the role Free Software can have in an SMB.
He is looking for people to help him out.
We could set up a small booth and have a couple of people ready to
answer questions, and it would be great if we had one or two people who
would give speeches/presentations.
I did contact the FSF too, so hopefully we'll have more speakers with
them, and a couple of other free software-based businesses might jump in
and give a presentation too. Does anybody know if Puzzle would be
interested? It might bring them clients / partners too.
I think it is very interesting as most of the attendees will be "young"
entrepreneurs, who just started off their business, so exposing them to
our group and to Free software in general might be a really good thing.
Maybe a business-oriented demo would be nice too?
The date is still floating, since we need to gauge how many people will
attend, but it will definately be in a month or two.
Would anybody give me hand with this?
Cheers
