Good news today, I received the ubuntu/kubuntu CDs from ship-it:

75 CDs:   40 Ubuntu   CDs Ver. 6.06 LTS for PCs
                7   Ubuntu   CDs Ver. 6.06 LTS for 64-bit PCs
                3   Ubuntu   CDs Ver. 6.06 LTS for Mac
                20 Kubuntu CDs Ver. 6.06 LTS for PCs
                7   Kubuntu   CDs Ver. 6.06 LTS for 64-bit PCs

I am sure that those will make a good impression together with flyers, 
posters live demo and usb sticks.
