[Ubuntu-ch] new to ubuntu and in trouble

Hello,

I live in a shared apartment in Geneva and we recently switced our
interenet provider to Sunrise, and we have the wireless modem ZyXel
P-600 series.

Everyone in the house that has a Windows platform can connect to the
internet, except me, running on Ubuntu Linux.

We have a secure network and I can see it in my network display, but
it just doesn't work (after I introduced the password, of course). I
know the IP address, and I tried fidling with that, but I didn't
result in anything.

My computer worked fine with the previous modem that we had from
Swisscom, so I don't know what to think.

If anyone has a solution or can refer me to something, I'd greatly
appreciate it.
