You will need to choose between 32 bit & 64 bit. You will need to verify the download "MD5 Sum" And during the install check the integrity of your CD. No ones fault just a bad CD?? I had problems with 8.10 very similar to Ray. I installed 8.04 no problems since. Just a thought. I now have the choice of browsers in Applications,Internet. Epiphany comes up and seems to work OK but I still cant get the youtube and other web videos to work. Sooooo.. Thanks Stephane.
