updates

[Raymond House]

I found with the help of Daniel that google talk plugin was the one giving
me trouble with my updates and in software updates under "other software" I
see that this was disabled in the upgrade to 16.04 but the box was checked
so I unchecked it and now my updates work fine, this might be helpful to
others.I don't know why google talk plugin was disabled, I guess in 16.04
we don't need it?? Thank you all with your help and special thanks to
