sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Now, copy and paste the following contents into the terminal:

Press CTRL + o and then press ENTER to save the file. Press CTRL + x to
exit nano.

When that is done, run the following command:
sudo apt-get update

And to *apply* any updates, run one of the following commands:
sudo apt-get upgrade
