I'm stuck again

[Raymond House]

Hi,I have a file in downloads that I cant open,again.It's an app called
installer_linux.tar.gz.I'm supposed to extract the files using"tar-xvf
installer_linux.tar.gz" I tried /home/raymond/downloads/ tar-xvf
installer_linux.tar.gz but I keep getting no such file or directory,I'm
sure I don't do it right. can some kind soul tell me exactly how? Thanks.
