CH is the country code for Switzerland (four official languages  there 
so they use the initials from the Latin form, Confederation Helvetique), 
hence .ch sites are registered in Switzerland. FlagFox is my favourite 
FireFox add-on to tell where a given site sits. For example, many .ca 
sits are hosted in the USA. But FlagFox does indicate the site you 
reference has its server in Switzerland.
