Easy encryption tools

For encryption on the local hard drive, there are built in encryption tools
with Ubuntu. I've used the user-folder encryption in Ubuntu and full-disk
encryption on Arch, FreeBSD and Debian. User folder encryption is pretty
easy to set up, full disk is a little trickier depending on the
distribution.
