Voip question

It's my understanding that Ubuntu Kylin includes QQ, which is an
alternative to Skype.

However, it is probably the Windows version, running under WINE, and the
videoconferencing doesn't work. And QQ is at least as proprietary as
Skype. And it an awful program, which basically takes over your machine
under Windows. But the videoconferencing is freaking awesome.

It's very popular in China, and my Chinese wife uses it every day. And
that's why I can't get her off Windows.
