Hi Rouben: Yup, Google Hangouts seems to be the consensus for the
group. The IRC/VideoChat we had on 23 January 2014 seemed very
popular indeed, to the point where we had people waiting to join
(Hangouts only let 10 people in at a time). Happily, some people
offered to drop out so that others could join. I tried to keep up
with the Video chat by transcribing it to the IRC channel, but I don't
know how successful I was. You can catch the minutes from 23 January:

(sorry, my /tmp folder ran out of space)

+JeffSmith is setting up a Google Hangouts-On-Air for the next
IRC/VideoChat meeting (27 February, 7pm EST (-0500)). Hangouts-On-Air
streams the whole thing on YouTube, so we can have any number of
people view (although only 10 at a time can broadcast), and YouTube
will record the whole thing (Google has a larger /tmp than I do). Jeff
has set up an Ubuntu Canada LoCo page on Google Plus, where he'll post
the link to the Hangout-On-Air once that's available.

I've started the agenda for the IRC/VideoChat at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/CanadianTeam/Meetings/Next -- please add
anything interesting that you know of.

There's a LoCo event at
http://loco.ubuntu.com/events/ubuntu-ca/2706/detail/ Registration is
optional, but always appreciated.
