Oh boy.

My computer is not exactly portable.

It is an HP 8600.

I don't have a 13.04 disk.

I have a mint disk somewhere. I will try that.

Where is Ubuntu hour going to be?

David

Timmy is stuck in the well again? That's the fifth time this week! Someone needs to teach that boy a lesson.

Hi David: Looks like the GRUB installation failed.

You can boot from a 13.04 disk or USB stick, start a terminal, and

install GRUB manually. But if you're unfamiliar with the command line

might be easier to re-install 13.04 from scratch, which should recognize

your Windows partition.

Or, if this is on a portable computer, bring it to Ubuntu Hour Kitchener

on Friday, and we do some collaborative troubleshooting.

By the way, it's useful to the folks on the list if you describe the

problem in the subject line of the message. "Help" might mean that

Timmy's stuck in the well again, and nobody wants to deal with that.
