Linking icons to commands

Hello everyone !

Is there a way to create a program icon that launches a program that I currently start from a terminal window ?  I am running a 3d printer host program that so far requires me to:

cd Printrun-master
python pronterface.py

The python app does put an icon in the launcher but how do I link it all to a one click ?  Old windows had a PIF utility [program information file] where this could be done specifying working directory etc...
