I have the following enabled in CCSM (everything else is disabled).

Composite
OpenGL
Desktop Wall
Expo
Ubuntu unity Plugin
Animations
Window Decoration
Compiz Library Toolbox
Mouse Position Polling
regex Matching
Session Management
Unity Scrollbars Support
Workarounds
Grid
Move Window
Place Windows
Resize Window
Scale


I'm not sure if they're all required, but Unity is working for me.
