Basically, Jeruvy, this means the list is definitely open to all
discussions. Anyone can ask any question relating to Ubuntu (presuming
everyone on the list is from Canada, so you don't get sidetracked in
thinking it means an open free-for-all for all internet denizens), and
we can openly assist them. yes, we'll probably point them at the main
Ubuntu ML (mailing list), the Ubuntu forum(s), and the like for more
*specific* information. However, they shouldn't be driven away and made
to feel unwelcome. Just like many of us discuss hockey around the water
cooler, so too can we discuss any facet of Ubuntu here.
Point them at documentation when it serves to better enable them to
understand something, however, just telling them Shut Up, this isn't for
talking about anything other than Parties and "We're here only to push
Ubuntu" meetups and the like is just dead wrong both in attitude, and in
fact.
