IBook G4 and ubuntu

Thank you for that input.  What I've read elsewhere isn't really encouraging either.  Overall the machine seems to be working well as is and the limited memory, disk and CPU may not work as well with Ubuntu.

The processor appears to be supported but one has to sort out what is 'New World' and 'Old World' tech as the Ubuntu pages call it. 


Overall it seems solving the password problem may yield better results.

I don't think PPC is a supported platform anymore.  At least, I had a
hard time finding a recent iso when I tried a couple years ago.

I did try debian, and that worked.  Wifi didn't, though.  If you
actually got it to connect, you got further than I did.
