In Firefox, Bookmarks/Show all bookmarks/Import and Backup/Backup

It creates a .json file which you can save on a flash drive, then import
into the new Firefox.

I use Evolution for email. It also has "Backup Evolution Data," which
can then be restored into a new installation. I have used it at least
four times.
