Chris, I have it working now, we saved the info on the card to a dvd using
the AV outputs of the camera to a video cassette recorder and reformatted
the card, but the Canon camera required that we re-initialise the card
before it would record videos. That done,it now works after a fashion, when I
insert the card I get the window that ask,s what program to use.Selecting
"lecteur de video" (this OS is in french) I get "cant read, wrong flux", but
if I right click on the card icon I get another window (canon) and
clicking on the video file and successive ones I finally get the videos, and
they work fine! There seems to be some sort of short cut missing here ?
