Microsoft trying new way to get at Linux?

MS had no hardware and Nokia didn't do their due diligence on MeeGo. At
least it looks like they're gonna open it up. Who knows, it might actually
become the GNU/Linux of mobile phones (including broad hardware support,
healthy software ecosystem and a decent user base).
