ubuntu-ca Digest, Vol 81, Issue 14 No login sound

I don't use Unity and I'm using 11.04. In GNOME classic, it's in
System > Administration > Login Screen. There is a check box for "Play
login sound"

In Unity on 11.04, use the 'Exit' drop down menu at the top right (or
wherever yours is) to open System Settings. In the fourth category you
should see Login Screen. Open that to see if the "Play login sound"
check box has been selected.
