launcher position

Hi all,  I wonder if it's possible to move the launcher to the left of the
screen, in Unity ? It's gets annoying when using the arrows to change
pages, it seems that everytime I want to do this the launcher comes up, the
slightest overshoot on my part and there is the launcher, again. Thanks.
