All the major providers have USB sticks you can use for mobile
internet access. From messing with it last week, I know Videotron's
network works well in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. The others (Rogers,
Telus, Bell) also most likely do. AFAIK, they should all be well
supported by NetworkManager.

If you already have a smartphone from one of those providers with a
good data plan, you may also want to use tethering, if you don't want
to buy a new USB device.
