Video cards

All my nVidia cards have worked well, provided you're okay with
running the proprietary drivers.

This is my current card.  I'm pretty happy with it:

I'd prefer open source drivers, but the only chipset manufacturer to
come through for us is Intel, and they don't make desktop cards.
Maybe if you were in the market for a new motherboard...
