When you ask "How do I get involved in Ubuntu?" the answer is "Go to your LoCo!"
When a Canadian goes to the Ubuntu Canada site, the impression they're
likely to get is that there's nothing to get involved in.
We should have pointers to what's going on in their local areas, and
in if there's nothing set up currently, we should tell them how to
start things. Host Ubuntu Hours, start release parties, etc.
We should tell them what sort of things people actually are doing.
Aggregate blog feeds from groups like Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto or
Waterloo. Get people excited about the community and interested in
participating or starting something themselves.
It should be the starting point for creating a community, essentially.
Darcy.
