Eugene, Thank you for the response. To be fair, my relative did the update,
and so it's possible that this individual may have stopped the update before
it completed. I have tried on different computers to update Thunderbird from
the program itself but under Help, "Check for Updates" is greyed out. I'll
keep at it.

P.S. I used to play some guitar, but nowadays enjoy listening music as I
drive through Canadian farmland to work.
