Honestly Alfred,

Keep in mind Alfred that I'm not trying to be an ass, and I'm looking at this
in a (what I would consider) fresh light.

I can relate to you in many ways when it comes to physical, mental and
emotional anguish and at the same time I can guarantee you that I've been
through more of each through my childhood and adulthood than you will ever be
subjected to. This is not a contest and I will NOT talk to you or anyone about
any of my experiences (partially legally and partially personally). There are
things that people just should not see/do on a regular basis, but someone has
to. I wouldn't wish what I do on anyone.

Regardless of past and present... regardless of feelings between people on
this list...

I, assume, this list is for fellow Canadians to get help and to communicate
and share ideas. And possibly get together, in real life, to solve problems
and promote (K)Ubuntu and Linux in general.

So (this is not to be insulting, but to maybe redirect your train of
thought)....
What are you contributing here?
How is this helping advocate Linux adoption in Canada?
How is this helping others on this mailing list?
I am all for a healthy debate, but does the topic relate to the purpose of
this mailing list?
Is there a problem that you need help with? If so, I'm sure there are many
people here that are willing to help.
What are you looking to get out of this list? (honestly I'm not entirely sure
what I want to get out of this list)

Just trying to sort this out...
Cheers,
Phil
