Thinking about downgrading

Interestingly I have the exact same card in this 5-year old laptop
(Dell Latitude 110l), and it's working fine for me.  I'm currently
running Lucid, but that laptop have seen all versions of Ubuntu since
Hoary.   But I haven't tried in a very long time to run a monitor on
it.
