To the very smart person that Torpedoed all my Linux Installations..

This seems like an interesting start for a mailing list that was dead until a couple of weeks ago... lol

Here's my 2 cents:

1- Alfred: It was probably Bill Gates on an attempt to get you back to Windows. Big brother is watching!!
2- This is an Ubuntu technical list, let's try to keep more interesting technical topics alive and pay less attention this type of messages
3- Moderator, were are you?

Cheers!

Matt:

I honestly don't believe I was the cause of this, it was just an odd
coincidence :P

I was just more-or-less pointing out a couple of things that I thought needed
pointing out... mainly a) Tactfulness, b) Courteousness, and c)a general
understanding.

If I hadn't been 'listening in' for a few weeks on this mailing list, and
suddenly came across this thread.... I would never have responded to this
mailing list.

Many people forget that this mailing-list is a representation of, not only
themselves, but the community in which (I assume) they are trying to support.
If I were to look up Ubuntu Canada (being an unsure user) I might back away
not only from participating in this mailing-list, but from Ubuntu and possibly
Linux in general?

Ok, that may be extreme, but it's a reminder to do a check before you hit send
:)

Cheers,
Phil
