You've installed the Google Chromium Daily personal package archive
(PPA), you probably want the Google Chromium Beta package, or the one
that is in the repositories in Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx.

Basically you can install programs from the Ubuntu repositories or get
more up-to-date software using PPAs. PPAs are updated more often and
are less stable, so it is generally recommended you use the Ubuntu
repositories. If you want, get rid of the chromium daily source by
going to System > Administration > Software Sources > Other Software
[tab] and delete the line that looks like
'http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu lucid main'
