Screensaver problem

Hi everyone, I have one for all the experts out there, In screensaver
preferences if I select any other choice than Blank screen, when the time
out occurs and it goes idle I then cannot bring back the screen, all is
frozen and I have to recycle the computer in order to boot up. I am using
Ubuntu 9.1. Never had this occur with 9.04.  Thanks, Ray.
