In that case, good luck with DRM, getting locked into nasty EULAs. Spyware, malware, virii, trojans etc. Good luck with complete re-installs on a regular basis. Good luck with Vista. I'm pretty sure XP's gonna reach end of life soon (or has). A system that still has a floppy? Sounds fairly old. Do you think Vista's gonna run nicely on that? Windows7?

That being said, sound probs can be solved with a bit of research and some trial and error tinkering. And unless there's some strange HAL problem your floppy's probably deceased.
