Skype on 8.10

It's recognized in video on skype. I'm on a compaq presario.
Is there a deb for ucview?

  I was able to get it working without a problem on my Acer One. I'm using ucview as the camera software.

  Is the device recognized under "Options=>Video Devices" in Skype?

Happy New Year to All,
Has anyone got skype working on Intrepid? I can make calls to land lines,but pc to pc the video doesn't work.
Can't get webcam to work in Camorama.Works in cheese.
Has anyone got a solution to this? Webcam is Logitech Quickcam STX.
