Perhaps we can publish an open letter of some kind in response, one
that will may be sent to or found by interested parties at the
provincial or municipal level. The idea being to take advantage of the
publicity that this bit of federal interest in FOSS offers to raise
the profile of FOSS in a similar market segment. If it helps achieve
something positive federally that's great, if not, we still can plant
the idea elsewhere.
