The Lexmark is an X215 multi function and the Canon is an MF4370
I can get the Canon to print using the
UFR_II_Printer_Driver_for_Linux_Driver_V180_uk_EN
butg no other functions such as PCFax or scanning.
The Lexmark only works under windows and after switching to a non
Lexmark print cart it simply shut down and will not function anymore at
all. I have had the misfortune of using Lexmark printers in my business
(part of a nationally purchased POS system so I had no choice in
printers) and they were nothing but trouble. I bought the Lex because it
was a good price for a MFC at the time but have regretted the waste of
time and money it brought upon me ever since. Never again will I buy or
use another Lexmark printer.
