Xbuntu..

Installing the meta-package "xubuntu-desktop" will install the whole
she-bang. You can also then uninstall the "ubuntu-desktop" meta-package to
remove any leftover and unused Gnome stuff.  I'd install the xubuntu
desktop first, reboot, then uninstall the ubuntu desktop to ensure you ahve
a functional xubuntu install before nuking the gnome stuff.  Xubuntu does
re-use some of the Gnome stuff, but not all of it.
