video problem on Ubuntu.

Ray,

I suspect you have some problem with the overall installation of Ubuntu. 
Yesterday you mentioned that the installed version of the flashplugin is 
9.0.999. But if you were indeed running Intrepid 8.10 you should have 
version 10.0.22.87 instead.

What version of Firefox you have (In Firefox, Help->About Mozilla)? It 
should be 3.0.8.

Have you tried removing Firefox and installing it again? Can you copy 
the file /etc/apt/sources.list so that we can see what you have there?
