How to run kde3 on intrepid

I would have said the same thing but thought it would start a "desktop
world war."
However, I've seen KDE 4 and even though I'm a GNOME user, I must say it looks
very spiffy. As a GNOME user it would take me a while to figure out where things
are but it doesn't look so daunting.
I do see the comparison to Vista though.... very scary.
