It would not be weird if you have been flamed many times already :).  I 
have actually been flamed on the Kubuntu list for saying people should 
not flame others.  I also been flamed twice for just saying I like KDE 4.

As I have already mentioned with someone off list.  My main concern with 
the Green Party is not their platform, but the fact their platform is 
very similar to that of the NDP.  They are essentially taking away votes 
from the NDP and handing them to the two governments that are not very 
open minded to Free and Open Source Software; Liberals and the 
Conservatives.

It is much better for all of us to support our local NDP members, like I 
do, and get as many of them into Parliament.  Then we can voice our 
concerns though the NDP members who would be just as open to FOSS 
software as the Green Party are, if not more.  Jack Laytons message is 
not to be afraid of the big companies and he does want to stop companies 
from gouging people.
