Compiz Cube orientation

With your settings, will the cube rotate when you hold the middle
button anywhere on the screen, for example, on top of an application,
or will it only rotate when pressed down on a blank area of the
desktop.

I think I'd tried that and lost the ability to paste with the middle
button in an application. Selecting text with the mouse and pasting by
clicking the middle button (scroll wheel in my case) works in
applications but when I made changes similar to yours, I wasn't able
to paste. Each time I pressed down on the middle button, the cube
would start to rotate.

Andrew.
